A beautiful 1978 Alpha Caravan aka Dora

We are looking for a loving home for our beloved caravan, Dora the Explorer – A beautiful 1978 Alpha Caravan.

We created a beautiful website for her – http://www.oceancaravan.co.nz. You can check out all the photos we have of caravan and what sort of life she has lived since we bought her in 2011.

So what's her story you ask?

We originally bought her in 2011 as a Client Christmas Gift idea. Instead of sending our clients bottles of wine and hampers for xmas, we came up with this idea to give our clients the opportunity to get away for the weekend and stay in our caravan at Castle point...The gift that keeps on giving.

So we bought this caravan and christened her 'Dora'. We parked her up at Castlepoint and sent our clients an invitation to use her at their pleasure. For the past three years she has had visitors come and go.

Dora originally resided at Castlepoint for 6 months in 2012. We then moved her to Hot Water Beach for 12 months. For the past 12 months she has been parked up at Lake Ferry in the Wairarapa.

Sadly we can no longer look after her they way she deserves. So we're looking to pass her on to a loving sou, who can take her on the next adventure.

Overall she is in pretty good shape. She has a few wear and tear marks but she would still be perfectly suited to a family looking for a new getaway.

Dora is currently sitting securely on a Martinborough farm waiting to be whisked away. If you would like to visit her this can be arranged.
