Murdoch Mysteries is a dynamic drama series set in Toronto, Canada in the 1890s. Yannick Bisson stars as Inspector William Murdoch, a dashing young detective who pioneers new scientific approaches to solving crime such as fingerprinting, forensic techniques and lie detector machines. Assisted by coroner Dr Julia Ogden (Helene Joy) and Constable George Crabtree (Jonny Harris), Murdoch employs these new-fangled methods--as well as his own unswerving instinct--to solve some of the city's most gruesome murders.

In this compelling fourth season Detective Murdoch is confronted with some difficult challenges. To start, pathologist Dr Julia Ogden has departed for a new job at the Children's Hospital in Buffalo. Her replacement from Scotland Yard is the ill-tempered Dr Francis (Paul Rhys), who frequently clashes with even-tempered Murdoch. A wedding takes place in the season finale, but who will be walking down the aisle?
