Violet and Daisy (Alexis Bledel and Saoirse Ronan) are a pair of teenage assassins who snuff out crime figures in New York City. When they're not poring over mags about their favourite celebrities, Violet and Daisy are plying bullets into the enemies of their mobster boss, Russ. No job is too big and carnage is all in a day's work. Now they have a new assignment - a quick and easy hit, they are told. But when they arrive at the apartment of their latest target (James Gandolfini), they are met with something unexpected: a willing victim. A sad loner, Michael actually welcomes the bullets and this creates a dilemma for the assassins. Shooting a compliant target seems, well, unprofessional.
