While you can still buy modern boot lace pullers, they're now a very niche tool that's largely disappeared from our daily lives. Back in the day they came in a huge array of sizes and shapes, when it wasn't uncommon to have very long boots with kilometres (or should that be miles? ;-) ) of laces that needed a jolly good yank :-)

This is a great collection of antique promotional / advertising pullers, a mix of both NZ and international companies and shops being represented. I've taken a separate shot of the NZ ones.

They're all in good order, some age appropriate wear but no significant issues otherwise.
