Very large and slightly distressed Enamel on tin advertising sign, the sign has a small stamp at the bottom that is a little smudged, but it looks to me to say – HADFIELD A CO WELLINGTON

Unsure if this was the sign maker ( I did find a reference to Hadfields being a lithographer in 1914) or if this was a retailer.

The sign its self, is missing some enamel and it also has “The” cut out of it. (Someone must have had a desperate need for a blue “The” at some point!).

The sign reads – DRESDEN” PIANO Co LTD “The Dresden’ FOR PAINOS & ORGANS BRANCHES & ANGENCIES THROUGHOUT NEW ZEALAND

Sign measures 99 cm x 64 cm
