I believe these little salt & pepper shakers with solid stamped sterling silver tops on them are originally from some shipping or rail service or similar, as I have another couple of identical pairs that came from the same estate. But they're the perfect size for a picnic :-)

The sterling silver has a weight of 2g, weighed without the glass. They measure 37mm high (pepper) and 40mm for the salt. They're in very nice condition, some minor wear to the metal from use but no significant issues otherwise.

The pepper is simply stamped 925, the salt is "Sterling Silver" stamped.
