Vintage Antique Singer Featherweight 221K Sewing Machine in Original Portable Case
with accessories including Instruction Booklet - etc
The Singer Featherweight is a model series of lockstitch domestic sewing machines produced by the Singer Manufacturing Company from 1933 to 1968, significant among sewing machines for their continuing popularity, active use by quilters and high collector's value
The mains power cord is there and fires up the Machine with the light going and the motor whirring, turning the handle but:
I am unable to lift the arm at the needle so it could be something or nothing, stopping the needle from going up and down the bobbin cover and bobbin are absent but can be readily found on ebay
so sold 'as is' for parts or repair

It could be a thread-jam or the bobbin case inserted incorrectly as these are common causes that stop the needle going up and down.
