Description
Hand built labor of love. I built this for a 10 day Pirate themed camping adventure with the family of 5. With plenty of room onboard we sunbathed on the decks, read books in the crows nest and the kids (and adults) all played pirate games! as well as cooking in the open galley and sleeping in the cabins. Tapered double bed in the forward cabin, double-ish and single-ish beds in the stern cabin. LED strip lights and opening portholes (20L bucket lid) in both cabins. Roof hatch in forward cabin, Opening stern window. curtains all round. The rear mast, with the crows nest is made with scaffold tubes and as pictured, strong enough to hold 4 grown men. (second photo)
The bad, She has been sitting uncovered for 2 years. the sun has taken its toll on her including the paint and rope work. She will no longer float as the last time she was pulled back onto the trailer a wobbly roller went through the hull.
$1 reserve auction is for the ship only. Trailer can be purchased for $200 with the ship. Trailer was rebuilt with all new crossmembers, axle, leaf springs and jockey wheel. Then registered as a new build in March arch 2021.
Located in Apata area, Tauranga, viewing is a must. Buyer to sort their own transport for ship, if not buying the trailer with it.
Photos, First 5 are from the camping trip, sitting on the included ground cradle 6th, floating and fishing in the Tauranga harbor 7th, floating in the pond for another camping weekend. 8-15th are her as she sits today. 16th, was the day I commandeered her and begun this adventure
