This stunning high quality clock is around 120 years old and has a beautifully carved solid Walnut case.

This is a real statement time piece. The case is decorated with turned columns and finials that gives the whole clock a flamboyant elegance.

The German high quality movement was manufactured by Konkurrenz in the Black Forrest around 1898. Their trade mark was a horseshoe with a star inside.

The whole clock has been painstaking dismantled and lovingly restored. The movementhas just been fully serviced (dismantled, cleaned and oiled using professional Moebius Swiss Clock oil) and so runs perfectly and keeps excellent time. It runs for around a week on a wind and is sold with a 12 month warranty so you can buy with complete confidence.

Each component of this clock is quality. The dial is perfect and has attractive Roman numbers The matching hands are ornate in the style of the clock. The brass pendulum is very elegant and really catches the eye!

In front of the dial and running the length of the case is a glass panel through which the polished brass pendulum is viewed ticking slowly back and forth. The clock also has glass side panels through which the movement can be viewed running. Inside the case is a plate with “A” and “R” on it (standing for advance and retard) to assist with putting the clock into beat, another quality feature.

This clock also has a lovely soft gong which is struck on the half hour and hour and its original brass key.
