This stunning triple chime mantle clock was manufactured around 60 years ago by the world famous Franz Hermle clock Company which began manufacturing and selling mechanical clocks over 100 years ago and are still in business today!

Founded by Franz Hermle they manufactured high quality movements and clocks, specializing the in complex triple chime movements.

The clock is in amazing condition. Every component is quality and in incredible condition, from the brass Bessel to the matching hands. The pictures tell the story.

The clock has its original high gloss piano finish in perfect condition. The colours and grain in the timber are beautiful and the clock has a truly elegant shape to it.

Best of all this clock features the highly sort after and rare triple chime movement. The chimes can be varied using the lever on the dial of the clock. from silent to St Michael, Whittington and Westminster. The sound is breath taking! The clock also strikes on the hour.

In order to prepare it for its new owner it has just been fully overhauled at a cost of over $300. This involved removing the movement, new bearing being fitted as required, a full clean, oil with professional Swiss clock oil and then reassembly.

As a result the clock runs perfectly, keeps excellent time and does everything it should. It is complete with its original named key. This clock features a sophisticated floating balance wheel escapement so there is no pendulum to worry about or adjust. This means the clock is robust accurate and keeps great time.
