This listing is for a Genuine Vintage Japanese Hand Sewn Kimono Jacket in a beautiful shade of pale pink. It dates from around 1920-1930's and is made from silk which feels soft to the touch. The jacket measures L83 x W56cm (Length 120cm with arms extended)and is in remarkable condition for its age. There is a small stain inside the jacket which does not show on the outside and does not detract from the overall look of this beautiful piece.

The jacket is completely hand sewn and is a fabulous decorator item. It has its original hand plaited ties fixed inside. The hand sewn decoration of this beautiful piece is simply stunning. The jacket is fully lined and even the pattern on the lining is absolutely gorgeous. This type of vintage jacket is now highly collectible.

This piece was to be used in a display home but ended up not being required.
