Up for auction is this lovely antique monogram bar brooch by SCHNEIDER MANUFACTURING CHICAGO. The slender gold tone brooch is beautifully made and features the letters CFB. Schneider Manufacturing Company were a company in Chicago in the early part of the 20th Century. They manufactured pins and brooches for organizations and schools. This brooch was more than likely an aware brooch for time of service to a company.

The jewellery I am offering comes from my own collection (most of it is from my numerous trips to New York in the 1980s and 1990s - still remember them fondly! :-), my mother's second-hand shop (which was located in Zurich and she ran it for about 20 years) and several Gisborne women who used to travel the world between the 1940s to 1980s.
