Description
Used on the Phalanx Close In Weapons System which uses the M61 Vulcan 6 barreled Gatling gun firing up to 4500 rounds/minute.
The projectile has a inner tungsten penetrator with a discarding sabot.
This round is only used on Phalanx systems fitted to Naval vessels, the High Explosive rounds are only used on the land based Phalanx system known as C-RAM.
