This is an issued recoil reduction mount for the MG42 pattern belt fed machine guns. This mount is designed to work with a US / NATO tripod and Traverse & Elevation (T&E) mechanism as a stationary weapons platform, allowing accurate. TRIPOD AND T&E, ARE NOT INCLUDED !!!! Originally made and marked DISA for the Danish company Dansk Industri Syndikat (Danish Industry Syndicate) that manufactured the mount.
