This auction is for the antique table lamp in the photo. Complete with shade.

The base is spun brass, and the glass standard is frosted with gold and silver lines painted? on it. The plug is plastic, NZ made, with a brand "nTz", and the cord is 2 core plastic insulated, but quite light gauge compared to current items. The lamp holder is a threaded brass case, with a black plastic bayonet holder and quite sturdy by current standards.

The filament is a vertical zig-zag around the centre post, it appears to be intact and has a resistance of 69 ohms.

Not brave enough to put current through it.

50cm high including shade.

Very old, passed down through the generations.

Needs an appreciative home.
