Virtus Pollet - Kings College/School's official motto, means "Noble Conduct Prevails" from the school website.

These two badges are old - one is marked with the maker, Teutenberg, Auckland - a noted designer and maker of badges, emblems, masonry etc. This one likely predates the 1st WW as he sold the business off in 1915. The other badge is not marked with a maker, however it is possible it is by the same designer/maker - I cannot find much about this in my quick searches online.

Both badges are silver, however there are no hallmarks or other marks to indicate this (so not tested). The Teutenberg badge is stamped H16, the other 2.25. Not sure on exact ages for these however it is likely they are both Edwardian - please pipe up in the Q&A if you are able to shed any more light on this!

The Teutenberg badge is missing the mounts on the back and is slightly worn (please see photos). The other is complete with mount and pin but it may be missing the very top of the crown. It looks jagged although it's possible that's from casting.

No problem to combine shipping on multiple items - just advise when you send shipping instructions including appropriate auction details. Successful bidder can also collect from Hamilton East if preferred. Items shipped without tracking are on an 'all care, no responsibility' basis.
