A complete set of cards collected which encompass the QEII Coronation and her visit with the Duke of Edinburgh to NZ. It was the first time a reigning Sovereign had visited NZ. And of course, nothing would be complete in 1953, if it didn’t have an article on Sir Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tensing planting the Union Jack on the 29,000 ft Mt Everest on the eve of her Coronation.
