Description
An absolutely incredible genuine Art Nouveau six piece tea set made from solid sterling silver. Made in england in the 1900's by James Fenton & Company, each piece of this set is hallmark stamped for Birmingham, England, Sterling and date marked for either 1907 or 1909. Hand beaten silver metal is adorned with romantic curvilinear handles and feet on each silverware item. Teapot and coffee pot handles are made from carved wood. This set has a dark patina and we have left it this way for the new owner to decide if they would like to polish it or leave as is. This set has some small damages, notably the misshapen coffee pot lid, missing top of tea pot and slighly out of shape spouts on the cream and milk jugs. The total weight of this set is over 1.3 kilograms.
