Description
New Zealand/Great Britain 1968 crash mail cover posted from Runcorn Cheshire to Hastings onboard BOAC flight 712 crashed in Heathrow London 8 April 1968 (just 3min32sec after take-off following major fuel leak and catastrophic fire; causing loss of five lives), with green ‘Salvaged From Aircraft Accident London 8-4-68’ handstamp, as part of someone’s previous display. A very rare NZ crash mail item fully complete with contents (x2 Easter cards), ‘Ambulance’ and NZPO envelopes, and notably rare Postmaster letter (better than $400 example currently on Complete Stamp Co. website).
Condition is generally good, with original damage as associated with the crash/fire event (not ‘faults’). Nice item(s).

All items will be packaged with cardboard and waterproofed with plastic, however will not be responsible for loss in transit.
