What a find - a lovely big piece of beautiful peacock blue satin shantung - it is a gorgeous peacock blue thick satin on one side and a dark raspberry red on the other. You could use it either side.

The blue has shades of raspberry through it as you move it - it really is a special fabric.

We were going to use this in the furnishing of our 1866 cottage but then decided on something different.

Would date from the 1930s.

Been in storage for some time so freshly laundered.
