Description
This is new curtain fabric from the 1970s. It has vertical stripes and has greens ranging from bright green through to olive green. In the stripes with the abstract dark green motif there are thin stripes of turquoise blue. There is a selection of photos but none has quite picked up the effect of this stripe.
The fabric itself is soft and a loose type of weave though not transparent.
Drop: 5.53 Width: 127
Sustainability Trust helps people to create warmer homes and reduce their impact on the environment. We’re Wellington region’s energy efficiency experts, providing advice and selling products which result in drier, healthier homes. All profits are invested into award-winning community programmes that empower everyone to live more sustainably. Wellington Curtain Bank is one of those programmes – we make lined curtains for the homes of low-income families. We use donated curtains and fabric to provide the free service, and use some of the fabric donations to fundraise for other much needed resources to run the service.
