Artist: Helen Holmes Helen Holmes has worked across several disciplines, including sculpture and textiles. Her work is strongly influenced by the natural environment and she likes to keep a raw handmade quality. Helen uses a lot of lost wax process Incorporating directly from nature into her designs.
Title: A Place To Call Home The suitcase represents for many adventure, rest and excitement. For many, however, the suitcase tells a sadder story of flight. Memories and possessions are encapsulated in this one piece of luggage. The dream is to be rid of it, stop living out of this object and find a place to call home.
