Beautiful rare set of six Chinese silks featuring exotic birds and vibrant floral designs.

These examples of Chinese embroidery on silk have been beautifully preserved and have recently been framed professionally in rimu timber and glass (it cost us over $2,500 just to have these framed). The silk has a 'ripple effect' because no glue was applied during the framing process to maintain the integrity of the precious silk - this can be remedied by stretching the fabric over backing board.

Perfect condition - no age stains or fading.

Each art work measures 113cm/1130mm high x 47cm/470mm wide.
