Murray Hilton is an Australian artist who was a trail blazer in resin artwork. This piece of art was purchased in 2000 from the Volvo Gallery in Sydney. Murray was at one stage on the books of the prestigious Tim Olsen Gallery in Woollahra but has currently gone bush in the red centre of Australia - see blog http://www.murrayhilton.com The artwork is approx 1.5 metres high and when hung vertically just over 1 metre wide. The inspiration for the artwork is the golden sands of Australian beaches. It is encased in a metal frame and is in perfect condition. Any imperfections in the photos I have posted are due to reflections of the camera flash. The resin itself has no significant scratches. The artwork needs a big wall and a decent stud to secure it and as I no longer have either it is time to let someone else enjoy this stunning piece of art.
