Description
Maurice Crompton Smith original pencil sketch. This pencil sketch was taken from his sketchbook.
Waitara River. Circa 1881 is my guess based on his documented history of when he was in Taranaki creating pencil sketches and watercolours at this time. As opposed to his works in Wellington later in life.
A very special and significant piece of NZ history and dear to my heart - art for a serious collector.
Beautifully framed and glassed.
Size: 24.5cm wide by 19.5cm tall.
