Babies love to suck on the straps of the baby carrier and since it not good or convenient to be constantly washing your baby carrier I've made these strap covers for baby to suck on. Patterned cotton fabric on one side and super soft minky on the other, they are reversible so you can use them with either side out. In the centre there is a layer of cotton towelling to absorb dribble. They also have a ribbon loop attached so you can attach a toy to them. They are easily machine washable.

These wraps fit the Ergo, Manduca, Lillebaby, Beco and Tula baby carriers. These are the only carriers I have tried the suck pads on at this stage but I am sure they would fit other carriers with similar straps. The suck pads measure 23cm wide x 16cm high, and fit the straps of a ergo that measure 17cm around. There is some leeway on this measurement as they can be done up tighter or looser with the velcro.
