My buyers sometimes ask me if my overnaps have the natural lanolin left in them. Well, this time I can say "Yes!" I have hand-carded this wool myself (believe me, it is quite time-consuming!) and have only "washed" it in lukewarm water using no soaps or detergents. It doesn't come more natural than this!

Environmental concerns are leading many parents to consider cloth nappies (diapers) for their baby. These home-spun and hand-knitted, 100% pure New Zealand wool overnaps are also a natural choice. Wool allows air circulation, reducing nappy/diaper rash, and the hollow fibres absorb moisture, keeping the outer surface dry. Its insulating quality keeps baby warm in winter and cool in summer.

These overnaps stretch from 34 cm (relaxed) to 44 cm around hips. From top of front to top of back they measure 42 cm. They would probably best fit a baby from birth up to ~3 months old, depending on the kind of nappy you are using underneath.
