It might seem odd to use a non-fluoride toothpaste, as it goes against everything we've been taught about oral hygiene, but studies have shown it can actually be harmful to children under the age of 6 as they usually swallow more toothpaste than necessary when brushing. They can develop enamel fluorosis if they ingest more than they need and if the child is under the age of 2 fluoride toothpaste should not be used to help brush the teeth. Of course, we wouldn’t sell it if it didn’t also look good.
