This directory is the first ever reference work dealing with military motor vehicle of all kinds which were used by the Allied and Axis power in World War II. The emphasis in this book is on the soft skin vehicles which have never before received any serious coverage. Practically all known types are listed and about 900 specimens are illustrated and captioned with technical data and other points of interest. For each country there is an introduction containing general information about its fighting vehicles and their production with details of colours, registration numbers, manufacture etc
