i have for sale a collection of popular mechanics books for sale on behalf of a charitable group.there are approximately 50-100 dating from i believe 1936.on one there was a price of 1 shilling and one with 1 shilling 6pence so that might help the enthusiast date them and by no means is that probably the oldest as i havent gone thru them all.the photo is a handful from the pile and they are to be sold as a bundle so i cant look up specific issues.maybe theres gold in there but we just want to clear them out hence the fabulous price of $1 reserve.the condition is used i wouldnt say mint but not rubbish either.theres treasure in there for someone who knows more than i do about these
