Our furniture offerings include classical, rustic, French provincial and urban furniture at surprisingly affordable prices and, though most of our customers are furnishing their homes, we have plenty who head straight to Early Settler when fitting out their offices.
Early Settler’s ranges cover every corner of your home from kitchens, dining rooms and lounges through to home offices, bedrooms and bathrooms. We also stock a great collection of outdoor furniture and accessories to help you deck out your very own piece of backyard paradise.
But we’re not just about fantastic furniture, we’re also about gorgeous homewares. Be it lighting, rugs and heating or locks, bolts and latches.
A brief history lesson
Since opening our first store in 1985, then teaming up with Recollections in 1987 (a period home renovation company), Early Settler has grown to become a 56-strong network of stores operating throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Throughout those years, there have been two enduring constants. The continuous evolution in furniture and homewares designs, and our mission. Right from the very beginning we’ve been committed to offering our customers the widest possible range of stylish, affordable, and built to last products teamed up with the very best in customer service.
It’s been a pleasure being part of the landscape for the last 30 years and we look forward to continuing to help our customers create homes they love living in well into the future.

Easy to clean and maintain and built from a wide variety of Australian, New Zealand and imported timbers, including hardwearing oak and renewable plantation-grown timber, Early Settler furniture is built to last.
To complement our furniture, we also offer a wide array of homewares, home renovation and lighting products - including an extensive collection of traditional period pieces such as romantic crystal chandeliers and heritage-style electrical switches – that will allow you to finish your home in style.
