Selling our coops and a few chooks and accessories, on what was then a small shopping network called Trade Me. As Kiwis got more used to buying things online, we got more used to selling them. After a couple of years with a small part time hobby, demand was getting the best of us. A loss of employment in the construction industry meant some time left to re-think our families future.   Being one of the only Poultry specialist sellers on Trade Me, we decided to also start our own website – at this time, Chook Manor Limited – Your one stop chook shop was launched, it was the 1st of September, 2010. Our old trade me account was retired and chookmanor was created... Our goal was simple – To provide you the best deals on everything for your chooks and backyards, delivered straight to your door at the best possible price. And since then we have been able to do just that. Several years on, a few earthquakes in between - here we are, still growing in an ever expanding-market.
