  SmartyPants is owned and managed by Sarah, mum to 2 beautiful kids who are her inspiration for the business.   SmartyPants began it’s journey in 2014 with a Facebook page. The business quickly grew and the website was launched just 2 months later. Pop up shops in the local mall soon followed and SmartyPants began to get a name for itself as being the place to go for a fabulous range of quality costumes and clothing at reasonable prices - with service that you just don’t get from the big brand stores. In 2016, overwhelmed with the amount of stock at home, the decision was made to open a shop in Halswell. The range grew to include a large selection of ‘mindful toys’, the ever popular ‘pocket money wall’, shoes and gifts.   In mid 2017, having outgrown the Halswell space, SmartyPants moved to a shiny new shop in Wigram Skies, Christchurch. With the new shop being 4 times the size, we were able to increase our range significantly, particularly in our clothing and giftware areas. We're still focussed on providing the same great range of children’s clothing and mindful toys, with the same great service that SmartyPants is known for. The new shop will caters for children from birth to 14, has a large contained play area for the little ones and heaps of onsite parking.   We are committed to offering quality goods at reasonable prices – and you’ll always find something that’s just a little bit different. We regularly attend trade shows both locally and internationally to ensure that our products are on trend while finding exciting treasures that are unlikely to be found elsewhere locally. SmartyPants has become the place to go to grab a present for the endless string of birthday parties that kids get invited to as there is a great range of products in the $15 to $30 price range. We also have a great range of birthday cards, wrapping paper, and offer gift wrapping in store for a small charge.   SmartyPants offers same day order processing.
