Poplar is a light coloured soft, low density hardwood timber. The sapwood is usually indistinguishable from the heartwood and almost white. Growth rings are not conspicuous and texture is fine giving the unfinished timber a plain appearance.

“Tongue and Groove” has a tongue on one end, and groove on the other, so panels can slot into one another. TGV is a panelling / sarking profile with V-edge, giving a negative detail when joined i.e. for feature walls or that statement ceiling.

Many people do a high level plasterboard finish... but you can be different. You will get a stunning result with these boards, great for a feature wall in the lounge or bedroom, or lining the internal walls of your shed or man cave.

Our SECONDS packets are graded from our premium grade. Each board has a blemish, this could be: staining, machining marks, skip dressing, pinholes, cracking or multiple short lengths. Each packet varies and wastage differs on application
