This auction is for a brand new digital thermostat controller for domestic use, which is ideally suited for DIY solar hot water projects. Other possible uses for temperature-controlled systems are food dehydration, beer and wine making, temperature sensitive fermentation processes, aquarium heating, laboratory equipment and greenhouse ventilation etc.

The controller is easy to configure and has a water-proof probe. The unit can turn a load on or off when the user-defined temperature (between -50C and +110C) is reached. The probe can be calibrated for extra accuracy. The large 3.5 unit display shows real-time probe temperature in 0.1C increments. The standard probe lead length is 1m. For solar panel controllers the sensor lead must be long enough to reach from the controller into the panel, probes with longer leads are available on request.

Add $5 for 3m, $7 for 5m or $12 for up to 10m probe leads.
