The Classic & Co. is all about incredible pizza. We are a group of passionate volunteers who created this caravan/brand to fundraise for a local school. Check out our website www.theclassicandco.co.nz
With loads of untapped potential (esp. smaller/private events), it needs someone who can run it full time to take it to the next level. Being one of the few doing pizza is also big draw card. We are ourselves restricted, being reliant on volunteers.
As it has been used as a fundraising venture, it is not currently registered as a separate business entity. Also for this reason, it hasn't required a food cert, though it is compliant. Both of these would be needed for it to run as a proper company.
Caravan:
- 16ft 1973 Gypsy caravan
- Current Rego/WOF/eWOF, 15amp wiring
- Purchased in 2016, gutted, and refitted
Equipment:
- 2 level Lincat electric Pizza Oven with stone bases, 8 large pizza capacity
- S/S counter
- Cash drawer
- S/S prep bench
- Ingredients holder
- Docket holders
- Fresh water tank/sink/pump/grey water containers
- Awning on the back
- Gas spring strut window on front with bolt on sign
- Small electric fridge
Other Gear:
- Large metal 'blackboard'
- Power cords
- Pizza oven paddles etc.
- S/S trays
- Wood chopping boards
- Utensils/Containers
- Uniforms, t-shirts/aprons/caps
- Receipt printer
- Vend POS
Menu:
- Currently specialise in pizza, but anything is possible. All recipes and suppliers will be provided.
Events:
- Crosshills Fair (have secured a spot for this year)
- Kapiti Food Fair
- CD Field Days
- Opportunities: private/corporate events, festivals, markets.
Full training will be provided if requested, and all marketing assets supplied if wanted.
