Roofing Supply and Installation

The business has been operating for over 50 years & provides roofing services across the wider BOP region to the residential & commercial construction industry. A small scaffolding division is also operated.

The current owner of six years has focused on providing a reliable & efficient service that meets the strict timeline needs of builders & other contractors. The operating model is different in that no staff are employed but rather sub-contracting gangs are used for all roofing installations.

The operating model involving product being sourced on time & sub-contractors installing it when required has created efficiencies resulting in a strong financial performance. The owner works full time for approximately 30-35 hours weekly. He does not work on the tools and focuses on measuring & quoting and stock ordering.

A new owner will not require specific roofing skills although a building background would be advantageous, but not essential. General management or project skills are more important.
