A nuc (nucleus) box is used to keep a small colony of bees - it is ideal for catching swarms, or raising a split to expand your apiary.

Hive Doctor smart nucs have patented heat sealing technology which improves thermal efficiency and helps your bees retain warmth and a more consistent temperature. Specifically developed for the Hive Doctor Nuc, newly designed plastic clips fit onto the outer edge of the lid and lock securely onto the main body of the Nuc once closed.

Listing is for x1 5-frame unit, frames not included and accessory colour will be randomly selected - comes in kitset form and is easy to assemble. Occasionally we may send assembled - in flatpack form these nucs take up an XL carton.
