Makers name and an image of the thread cutting brass plate please. Thanks Chris. b********1 (105 • 12:22 pm, Sun, 14 Apr )This is part of an estate we are clearing out. Unfortunately I have no knowledge of the equipment. I can't see a maker's name of it and have taken photos of everything I could see on it. Hence $1 reserve. Thanks brogar (278 • Sunday, 14 April 2024 )Thanks for the quick reply and understood. An image of the brass plate (in image number three there is a brass plate on the base that can be seen between the two leavers) will do the job, Thanks. b********1 (105 • 12:31 pm, Sun, 14 Apr )Also, I'm in ChCh on Monday, could I make a quick visual inspection of the lathe ? b********1 (105 • 12:32 pm, Sun, 14 Apr )Yes, please send me your contact details brogar (278 • Sunday, 14 April 2024 )zero two one 19four thirty eight 38 b********1 (105 • 12:41 pm, Sun, 14 Apr )is it single phase? e****3 (194 • 06:55 pm, Sun, 14 Apr )I believe so, but as it is from a deceased estate I have limited knowledge on the equipment. A friend wanted it, but didn't take it as I believe he said it was single phase, so wouldn't work in his garage. Hope that helps. brogar (278 • Sunday, 14 April 2024 )I'm going to guess its 3 phase, because everyone has single phase. c*****e (816 • 12:21 pm, Mon, 15 Apr )I couldn't remember what he said, but it is definitely not the one that everyone has. Thanks brogar (278 • Monday, 15 April 2024 )Hi. It would be good if you could provide more information on the power supply and any name plate it might have. By looking at the wiring suggest it is 3 phase and not single phase. a****b (98 • 05:56 am, Tue, 16 Apr )Is there a way of lifting onto a trailor at your end. Perhaps the garage has a beam for a chain block etc a****b (98 • 06:08 am, Tue, 16 Apr )The lathe is at my parents place, which is now a deceased estate. I won't be back there until the weekend unfortunately. There are definitely beams in the garage roof, but I am unsure if they are robust enough to suuport the weight of the lathe. Thanks brogar (278 • Tuesday, 16 April 2024 )
