Trade Me Touch site out today

Trade Me Touch, our touch screen-optimised site, has launched today. It's a new way to get Trade Me on your iPhone, Android or BlackBerry device and it doesn’t require any applications or updates to be installed.

We delivered our first ever financial results as a publicly listed company today, for the 6 months to 31 December 2011.

Christchurch remembrance: site down for 2 minutes

Trade Me will observe two minutes of silence from 12:51pm to 12:53pm today out of respect for those affected by the Christchurch earthquake a year ago. Our thoughts are with you.

As a result, we will be offline between 12:51pm and 12:53pm this afternoon. Please note that all auctions due to close between 12:45pm and 1:00pm will be extended by 30 minutes.

Official Trade Me Android application out today

The first edition of Trade Me's official Android application is out and about today. You can download it for free from Android Market.

We've been pretty busy on the mobile front - the Android app follows on the heels of the iPhone app we released late in 2010. You can find out more about our efforts here.

Credit card payments problem
