Option card FR-A7AP, used for Encoder Feedback with A700 Series Inverter Drives, Positioning and Spindle Orientation applications.

Closed Loop Flux Vector - Use this with a motor mounted encoder for full dynamic control and motor positioning. Sensorless Vector or VxF - Use this with a machine mounted encoder for improved speed control accuracy, Positioning and Spindle Orientation.

Encoder pulse count should be between 1000ppr and 4096ppr (pulse per revolution). Selectable for Encoder signals at 5V TTL level and 24V HTL (HTTL) level. Requires an external 24V power supply. 2 x Digital Outputs for 'Orientation Complete' and 'Fault' as open collector.

Input frequency up to 205kHz in quadrature, as differential with or without complements. (6000RPM with 2048ppr maximum).

Mitsubishi part number is FR-A7AP (FRA7AP).
