Nikon Coolscan V ED

I purchased this off trademe to scan some old slides and negatives. Comes with all the accessories / manual etc.

I couldn't really get it working with slides but had no problem with negatives. Not sure if this was user error or not but I didn't have many slides to do, so didn't really investigate. 1$ reserve so grab a bargain.

Hi Keripete, It comes with the 35mm film feed, you just insert the strip of negatives and also the 35mm slide adapter, you can see both in the photo I am about to upload. You just insert the adapter you want to use into the scanner. jammer4 (236) • Saturday, 13 April 2024

Can you provide a bit more information on why slides wouldn't scan? e.g. Was it a physical issue getting them loaded or software getting them scanned? c*****n (115) • 08:00 am, Sun, 14 Apr

Hi there, I think it was a software issue as the adapter just slides into the scanner just like the negative one which I had no problems with. I didn't really muck around with any other scanning software, so perhaps it would have worked with a different piece of software but can't confirm. I don't have the slides with me anymore so I can't really test it, so I would say either take a punt and it may work perfectly or don't bid if you want it purely for scanning slides. jammer4 (236) • Sunday, 14 April 2024
