This is a prototype of One Stop Systems FSAe-4 (4U Flash Storage Array Expansion). More documents can be found on OSS website.

Features 4x removable canisters, each has 8 PCIe slots, with 2 of them at Gen 3 x16 speed, 2 of them at Gen 3 x8 speed with x16 mechanics, and 4 of them at Gen 3 x8 speed.

It has 3x 1200W redundant power supplies.

The findings so far:

1. It can power on with an OSS x16 Host Adapter and a Molex PCIe cable connected, which means all power supplies are functioning.
2. I can see the PCI express bridges in Windows Device Manager, and counting the downstream ports it seems 32 slots are all recognized, but you will need to shuffle those canisters around to get the best combination.
3. I am getting inconsistent results with different adapter cards plugged, and it seems Windows 2012 R2 has better compatibility, whereas Windows 2016 could result in blue screen. So device / driver compatibility could still be an issue.
