this is the top pack not the beginner with just the arm and not the Alpha with arm and 2 x joysticks. if you want to use this with other vintage pc's you dont have to use the cart as it is for MSX1 & 2.

I purchased these as new old stock. When you get one of these that hasn't been used for 30+ years, some of the motors can be "stuck" due to sitting so long. I don't like to sell things without fully testing it, so I opened it up and tested with joysticks (not included, any Atari-style joysticks work).

Also, the Rogo language and interface cartridge you may want to upgraded the EPROM to a new version that also works with MSX2 (and it can be made socketed for easy replacement if needed - we can do this for a fee if wanted).

Note that a 64K MSX computer is required, according to the manual if used with the MSX Cartridge.

Also make sure you use fresh batteries (4 D-cells required, not included) -- I wasted a lot of time thinking the motors only worked right in one direction, and finally found out one of the batteries was a little flat.
