Description of different types felting needles

• Star blade has 4 sides with 2 barbs on each side. The star blade is the needle work fast and effective, it will grab more wool with each poke for quick firm felting.

*Star Twisted blade: A very new design of felting needle on the market. it tangles the fiber quicker and deeper.The barbs felts the wool both deeper & closer to the surface, great for finer work and add details. Less puncture holes on the surface.

• Twisted (Spiral) blade: The barbs on these needles twist around to the end. This makes them felt quickly & gives a neat finish minimizing the surface holes. They become the favorite needle for felters! I use it to join pieces together. Not suitable for coarse wool.
• Triangle blade has 3 sides with 3 barbs on each side. A good all around needle.
• All our needles are suitable add on a felting tool which can be find from our other listing.

Notice: These needles are sharp and should be use with care, we recommend to be use by ages 10 and up , 12 and under with adult supervision.
