Description
Hundreds of Cameras and Light meters from the 1960's ,70's and 80's used these batteries - now banned from production.
Photo shows : Top Left : banned Mercury #625 , Top Right : #675 replacement Lower left :O-ring spacer Lower right : #625 replacement
The constant 1.35volt of the Mercury cell (more correct than "Battery" ) was used by the camera maker as a reference voltage.
Using a 1.55volt Alkaline or Silver-Oxide cell will result in GROSS EXPOSURE ERRORS - normally under-exposure, which is fatal with film exposures.
If your equipment specifies EPX or PX 625 or 675 -you need these replacements.
Some cameras which need these cells :CANON F1, FT-B, G-III , NIKON FTN,FT2, OLYMPUS OM-1, 1N,35,RC,RD,35SP,35 SPN,PEN FT,ROLLEI 35,35S,35T,XF-35,SL35,ZEISS CONTAREX SUPER, CONTAFLEX SUPER BG,YASHICA MINISTER D,LYNX 5000,5000E,ME-1,14E,MAT-124,124G (all 625 size) MINOLTA HIMATIC C,G,7SII,KONICA C35,LEICAMETER MR-4,MINOX B,BL,RICOH 500G,35 ZF, 35 ZFST,35 EF,YASHICA MX2,35 ME,ME-2,FX2,MF (675 size).
These Zinc-Air cells produce a constant 1.4 volts , and restore your classic to a usable state. Auction is for TWO cells , and a reusable O-ring spacer. This covers the common #625 - if you need the smaller #675 cell (very Rare) ,you will get THREE cells, and you won't need the O-ring.
And,if you don't tell me, you will just get the 2 cells, and O-ring, which covers 98% of the cameras which used this power source.
I'll send you my Battery Usage Guide,so you can extract the best life from your purchase.
