A collectable twin-lens reflex camera at a low price. Yashica Mat 124s are considered to be an excellent choice for entry-level medium format.

This is a nice example in great condition. I’m reluctantly selling because I want to buy some other gear and can’t justify keeping this ?.

The Yashica Mat camera is basically a Rolleiflex copy, so the controls have a similar configuration. Build quality is superb.

Anyone in the know will realise these are beautiful to shoot on and they’re becoming increasingly hard to obtain.

Well-designed and well-machined pro-quality TLR, with a classic look and solid feel. It is the forerunner to the well-known and wildly popular 124G, the last of a dynasty of quality Yashica TLRs and the culmination of all that came before it. Before them – among others – came the 12 (120 film only) and 24 (220 film only) but both the 124 and 124G take either 120 or 220 film.

The 124 is a refined-looking instrument, with chrome bright-work and pebbled covering and quality Yashinon lenses.
