Hi folks, you are looking at my complete 5.1 home theatre set of Wharfedale Crystal speakers. Included is a pair of CR-30.4 floorstanders (150W), a pair of CR-30.1 bookshelfs (100W), a CR-30C centre speaker (125W) and a WH-S8E powered subwoofer (150W). I'm including speaker cables too!

For those of you who are new to audio, Wharfedale are the 'UK's most famous loudspeaker' company, designing all of their speakers in Yorkshire and assembling them in their own custom built factory! They offer astounding performance with great value, and are perfect for movies AND music.

The Crystal range of speakers sits just below their international multi-award winning 'Diamond' series and enjoys the 'trickle down' of their well-developed technology.

These loudspeakers are built with a trapezoidal enclosure which disrupts the formation of regular standing waves inside the cabinet resulting in less ‘boom’ or muddled bass. The precision machined curved front enhances the dispersion from the drive units in a wide spread across the room.

Crystal 3 Series’ bass-midrange units utilise natural fibre cones made in the Wharfedale factory to a precise formula and a centrally mounted phase plug improves high frequency response. The highest frequencies are output by a micro-fine textile dome located in the smooth curve of the front baffle to ensure accurate and extended frequency response beyond the limits of our hearing. Finally, the 150W powered sub ensures that no deep bass is left out!

The resulting sonic output is smooth yet brightly detailed allowing you to hear the finesse of the rich overtones of instruments and vocals in a highly realistic fashion.

The speakers look almost like new with one bookshelf having a small dent (see photo) and some of the plastic lugs have come off the grilles - a common issue, but they still stay on no problem.
