Am I able to arrange courier from my end, please? n*****n (1907 • 5:36 am, Mon, 13 May )Hi, I already offer NZ post shipping to All in New Zealand, I won't ship overseas. $12 NZ Post Non Rural North Island. If you want another shipping company I can do that but at their prices. See my listing info for more location prices... Thanks discover_audio (47 • Monday, 13 May 2024 )I use NZ Post for my shipping as I found it the best overall. Thanks Seller comment Monday, 13 May 2024 It also has adjustable anti-skating Seller comment Monday, 13 May 2024 Will it also play cds. Peter h****e (310 • 10:26 am, Wed, 15 May )Hi, You can place the cd on the platter but when you play it, it won't decode the cd and it will scratch it. Best to play on a CD Player or CD transport. Thanks discover_audio (47 • Wednesday, 15 May 2024 )hootee : Ummm, you're a 'funny' guy. "Don't give up your day job", as the saying goes... l******2 (11 • 7:15 am, Thu, 16 May )haha discover_audio (47 • Thursday, 16 May 2024 )I have one of these but need to replace the stylus or cartridge, (it has the original, 'official' type). I want to digitise a lot of my vinyl: do you think the non-original/non-official stylus you've fitted would be better for sound quality for what I want to do? I assume it's more expensive but if it gives better sound than the standard stylus, (ST-38D, which looks very cheap & basic) then perhaps I should copy your example. Thanks. l******2 (11 • 1:14 am, Fri, 17 May )Hi, I see no reason to get a new stylus for the ST-38D as it costs TONS of money for a basic cartridge. I would say the audio technica at3600L would sound alot better (and tons cheaper) but I can't confirm. Theres the link to the cartridge https://tinyurl.com/atcepadx and yes they are real ones... Personally I say the AT 3600L is a very good sounding cartridge but theres always better. If you really want the ultimate player then I would choose a technics SL-Q2 or so but those cost tons now days. discover_audio (47 • Friday, 17 May 2024 )Thanks. I found the ST-38D is available from a couple of makers, (one made in Europe, which sounds safe) and no, not expensive compared to other styluses. I'd rather not get that model though. If I don't go for the same stylus/cartridge combo you fitted, is there a combo a step up from this that would fit and be may better/worth it? Thanks again! l******2 (11 • 6:17 pm, Sun, 19 May )Hi, Personally as audio technica is a known high quality brand I would get that. AT3600L, AT91R, AT95E, VM95C, VM95E etc are all great cartridges.. I would avoid the sanyo ST-38D. Ortofon, goldring and both good brands as well. I would get a cartridge around 20 to 120 nzd for this level of turntable as I would upgrade the turntable instead of getting a fancier cartridge. Phono pre amp also affects sound quality so keep that in mind. Check Audiosciencereview etc forums for extra help/info Thanks discover_audio (47 • Sunday, 19 May 2024 )
