I’ve personally upgraded this so be safe in the knowledge it’s been fully tested, has no known faults and has been done by a electronics engineer with over 15 years experience. Unlike the Ipods from the factory this one is unique, featuring no hard drive. This means no moving parts to fail over time. Using a 256GB SDXC high speed memory card gives improved battery performance by anything up to 60%, with better transfer speed, access time etc. Card is temperature, magnetic, shock and water-proof (the rest of the Ipod may not be ;-) Professionally laser etched rear casing (also new) with 240GB on it, so you can show you’re not joking. Remember once Ipods are opened they never tend to seal as perfectly as when they came off the assembly line, but once again I’m not one for doing a half-@rsed job. Note – Due to the Ipod having 64MB of SDRAM, if your music collection has a lot of album cover photos it may show as being full before it physically is. You’ll need to reduce this in your music library. The Ipod will display 238GB of space available. It’s because the software that's preloaded on it has to take up some space. The more Gigabytes there are the more space it will need for software because it needs more power to be able to sort through everything on your Ipod. Also 1GB = 1024 MB, not 1000MB as some think, so 238GB is physically 243GB. I’m not a online tutorial service once you buy the thing – Google is your friend ;)
